Hello & Congratulations!
Hi, I’m Allison.
I’m a Registered Nurse and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) with over 20 years of experience supporting families in community, hospital, and home settings.
My mission is simple.
To help parents feel confident, supported, and empowered in their feeding journey.
I care because I’ve been there.
When my first child was born, breastfeeding was overwhelming and painful. A home visit from a skilled lactation consultant changed everything — turning frustration into confidence and joy. That experience inspired me to dedicate my career to helping other families find the same relief, support, and connection. I offer personalized lactation support as someone who’s been there.
When I’m not seeing clients, you can find me puttering in my garden and walking my dog.

Our Values
-
No family is the same. Every parent deserves to feel safe, seen, and respected — with consent, gentleness, and compassion guiding every step. I take time to point out what you’re already doing well and offer feedback in a way that builds confidence, not insecurity. I believe in listening to your needs and vision for the feeding process, offering care that meets you exactly where you are.
-
Feeding is never exclusively technical; it’s emotional, physical, and relational. I care for both the baby and the mother. Sometimes that means problem-solving a latch issue, and sometimes it means listening while you process a difficult birth or NICU stay.
-
I meet families where they are, honoring birth experiences, mental health, and personal histories without judgment. With 20 years of experience and extra training in trauma-informed maternity and lactation care, I ensure feeding goals support your healing as much as your baby’s needs.
-
I cut through the noise of Google and TikTok with evidence-based, practical guidance you can trust. You’ll leave our time together with simple, actionable steps that feel doable even when you’re exhausted and sleep-deprived.
-
We work together to create a plan that fits your family’s unique needs, rhythms, and goals. Rather than handing you a script, I adjust pace, content, and priorities so the plan truly belongs to you.
